A Man Mansplains What It Means To Be A Rich Woman!
I mean, does a rich man serve his family by providing a home and resources for this woman to carry out her “rich bitch” duties? Of course not!
A few days ago a man got online to give his unsolicited opinions about what constitutes wealth for women, as if there are differences in what makes women and men rich. For the longest we were taught that having more money than god is the definition of being rich, regardless of gender. But one man has a different take and he’s ready to school us!
Here’s what he has to say:
“A woman is not rich when she earns a lot of money. She’s rich when she has a man to cook for and kids to take care of.”
Ladies and gentlemen, in what world is having a family to serve the definition of being rich? Sure, it might make you happy, but rich? Not by a long shot! If that was the case nobody would make a sound about capitalism, inequality, food deserts, silent quitting, being overworked and underpaid, or more! Poverty wouldn’t even be a thing! But it is a thing, for a very good reason: it exists! On top of that, many women find themselves in worse financial situations once they marry and have children, depending on who they marry and create families with.
But please mansplain what I can do to be a rich woman!
