Are You A Leader Or A Follower?

Believe it or not, it was rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent who inspired me to be a leader and never follow the crowd that is so blind-sighted by belonging to their detriment. A few years ago the crate challenge had everyone on social media attempting to walk up a stack of plastic crates like a damn staircase and busting their asses in the process. 50 was flabbergasted that people were literally injuring themselves and posting their challenge fails online for the sake of receiving a participation trophy from complete strangers.

“Holdup…y’all aren’t getting paid to do this?!” he stated with a stunned expression on his face. I fell out laughing, because I had the same sentiments. After that clip I considered the rapper to be my toxic zodiac twin, as we are both Cancers and we question everything.

Now I am not here to proclaim that people cannot do things for the fun of it. I am not saying that you shouldn’t do any of these challenges either. However, I want to understand the intentions behind it, because your reasons behind your actions tell a story about you and what you’re really about.
