Are You A Submissive Woman, A Superhero, Or Simply A Sacrificial Lamb?
Fuck sacrificing yourself for the greater good. The only greater good in existence is that everyone must become their own alchemist and transform their pain into power.
I got to understand through personal experience that this fixation men have on women becoming submissive really is a glamorous and feel-good disguise to turn them into sacrificial lambs who are obedient and humble to their own detriment. When women brag about being submissive it makes me cringe, because they are essentially walking around with post-it notes on their foreheads that say Use Me!
Now submission in general is not bad. It is a natural part of life, and I will even admit that it is a powerful move to submit in certain circumstances, like to your own will for example. You can submit to obstacles and circumstances that were put in place to help you instead of resist what they are trying to teach you. You can submit to the wisdom of someone wiser than you even though you may not agree with them because your brain is being introduced to information it cannot make sense of yet. And yes, you can also submit to your man’s requests if they are in line with any relationship goals you two have made as a couple.
