Trust me, the majority of people are in secret competition with you subconsciously because their self-worth is derived from what they have and don’t have. So of course they will evaluate you based on the same criteria. You ever notice that when you meet someone new they automatically ask you what you do for a living? They are essentially trying to see how your life measures to theirs. This is what stupidly counts as emotional connection in our society. This is also why I avoid most people; a lot of individuals only want to befriend or date you so they can keep close tabs on how you’re doing compared to them.
We value ourselves based on how our worth compares to others, which is essentially based on how well we perform in this matrix, because we are not taught about energetic dominance. We are not supposed to know that energy is the foundation of all of the things we believe make us superior to others. So we mistakingly believe power is external and is found in the success we can physically see. But it is internal, because the unseen is the foundation of everything, even life itself.
