Journal Entry #21: As A Writer, I Wish I Had Someone Like Me When I Was Younger

The domain for my website renews today for the first time, so I have had my website for a whole year.

Truth be told I feel accomplished. Why? I didn’t know I could actually stick with anything long-term. And while a year seems long as hell to me, in the grand scheme of things I’m just getting started. What’s a year of memoirs compared to a lifetime of lessons?

My writings are probably the first thing I have been consistent with without anyone pressuring me to do so; that and dancing. I plan to move my body well into another decade of life this year, and hopefully for many decades afterwards.

My website is my virtual home, and I am still trying to figure out how I would like to monetize it. But my main focus right now is building my audience, connecting with likeminded, free-thinking individuals, and publishing more pieces until I have an amazing volume of work with which I can make a name for myself.
