As for the me needing to be attractive to men part of your comment, I can admit that my beauty rituals may be appealing to men, such as wearing my hair a certain way, shaving, exercising, diet, etc. but that doesn’t mean I care to be attractive to them. They just happen to like and appreciate the way I express my personal femininity, which is for me first and foremost.
I don’t feel like women who don’t care to do the same things are beneath me, as I don’t even put much thought into how women choose to leave their homes.
Their body is not my business. Their hair, clothes, unshaved legs, whatever, has no bearing on me either.
