Does it take any white person lifting a single finger to destroy what black people have destroyed already?!

My favorite Disney movie is the 1991 cult classic Beauty and the Beast. When Belle entered the ballroom wearing her yellow gown and the teapot, voiced by Angela Lansbury, began singing the theme song I always felt the sensations of magick I experienced when I watched the movie for the very first time.

However, as an adult woman, a black woman at that, there is a tale as old as time that has been retold over and over again by the black community and passed on from generation to generation. And that is the tall tale of the magick and power that can only come from a nuclear black family unit, held together by black love. Only black people choose the option of helpless victimhood to excuse themselves out of answering why they can’t seem to keep their damn families together in one piece! It is easier for them to blame the imaginary scapegoat called The White Man for why every other race of people can manage to maintain households headed by a mother and father except for us!
