“Broken” Men Who Think Like This Need A Reality Check!
“Sorry not sorry, but adult men should not be allowed to be so useless when it comes to bettering themselves.”
I came across an old post from my Facebook Memories, and I was left rolling my eyes today just like I was rolling my eyes way into the back of my head a few years ago when I reread the words.
The post was a tweet written by a man named Jason Wilson, and he had this to say:
“Yes, it may be easier to build strong children than repair broken men…but that doesn’t mean we should leave men broken.”
Ladies and gentlemen, give me a few minutes for me to sigh in frustration, because the idea of any community usurping the attention of raising children to focus on men who refuse to help themselves is completely absurd.
As far as I am concerned, it is nobody’s responsibility to repair broken men other than the broken men themselves! Am I missing something here?
The idea that these self-proclaimed broken men should be allowed to sit around and wait for others to recognize and address their pain plus encourage them to get help is selfish. Gender aside, it is ridiculous for anyone to be so self-aware that they can call themselves broken, and yet believe that they are being abandoned because the people around them are too busy with…
