“It’s funny how some people look at my decision to be childfree as a selfish one. However, nobody, and I mean nobody, who says that one’s child can grow up to cure cancer actually cares about cancer patients!

So who is actually being a terrible human being?”

I believe that many people who say this have a hidden agenda: they are trying to feed into the self-righteousness of some women who want to be the next Mary, the mother of Jesus who was raped by God as a child. If you are upset at my words please take your frustrations up with the man you pray to every night. You can call it immaculate conception. You can say she was chosen. You can say she was being a vessel for Christ. Whatever. The fact still stands that Mary was a teenaged virgin and she did not consent to being impregnated with her son Jesus.

Am I right or am I right, Christians?

Anyway, the parents who say this expect all women to sacrifice their wombs and lives in order to feel…
