Chic, Stylish Women Don’t Have “Wasted Outfits”
Deifying your face, body, wallet and life is the ultimate solution to the make-believe disappointment the waiters of the world must endure.
Many content creators on social media have shared how disappointing it is to spend so much time getting dressed up at home, only to go outside and realize that nobody’s outside. So what was supposed to be an opportunity to boost their self-esteem through the accolades and attention of complete strangers ended up being a waste of time, fabric, creativity and effort. As a result, the items in their wardrobe they were not noticed in is conveniently nicknamed a wasted outfit.
Sorry not sorry, but I cannot relate to this scenario. I am sure there are other ladies out there who have no clue what a wasted outfit is either. Our brains cannot compute such a let down, because looking chic is the default. We adorn and exalt the temples known as our bodies because it is a fun ritual of sacred womanhood. We don’t do it for any potential praise from outsiders.
Like the Bratz dolls, we too have a passion for fashion, and it isn’t contingent on whether we are noticed; especially by people who don’t care about fashion in the first place! Imagine taking your time getting dressed to the nines and worrying if the woman wearing a wrinkled, old t-shirt from the family reunion eight goddamn years…
