Childfree Women Don’t Owe Infertile Women Anything!

“Your inability to be a mother, at least through pregnancy and childbirth, doesn’t deem that we must step up to the plate and have children for you.”

The glaring reality that is oftentimes hidden in the women’s empowerment movements and society in general is the entitlement of women, which may match or even supersede that of men. When you exist as a woman who dares to go against the grain, or grains, that other women expect of you, especially as it pertains to their human prizes known as men and the attachments of children, you must prepare to be met with lots of hate.

As far as the patriarchy is concerned, women themselves protect this same system they claim they want to dismantle. So don’t believe them and don’t hold your breath! They would be making drastically different decisions if they truly wanted this to happen.

With that being said, the entitlement of some infertile women is astounding, as they are offended that us childfree women aren’t having kids for them. As if we solely exist to be there for other women who can’t be mothers in ways that cause us to permanently change our lifestyles against our carefully thought-out decisions.
