Cops Aren’t Paid Enough To Deal With The Annoying “My Son Is A Good Boy!” Mothers
My motto is this: raise better sons or don’t have them at all! Then you wouldn’t have to deal with the pain of sending your child off to prison instead of college.
Today I planned to relax by binge watching Law & Order: SVU. Now I am well-aware of how the women who play the mothers of the criminal men in the series almost always obstruct justice by flat-out lying and deterring officers from making an arrest on behalf of their violent sons. A few episodes in, however, the constant coddling and “Don’t do anything to him!” statements began to highly irritate me. Because this is exactly how many mothers behave in real life.
“My son is such a sweet child!”
“But you don’t understand! He’s good!”
“He’s changed!”
“He would never hurt anybody!”
Oh my god; I can’t be the only one who is annoyed with their incessant whining and pleading because they can’t stare a few years of not mothering some dangerous criminal boy in the face like a boss! Sheesh!
Is being all alone with your thoughts really that difficult?!
I really wish these mothers would just shut the hell up and comply with the law. You are the only woman he’s ever treated…
