So many men complain about being nagged and treated like toddlers when they fail to realize that they choose to act like toddlers. Why should anyone treat a toddler like a man? On the flipside, why would a responsible, actualized man be treated as if he is a toddler? These are two completely different stages in a male’s development. You are either a boy or a man. You are not both. You cannot be both. Sorry!

I have had many riveting conversations with members belonging to the opposite sex, and the general consensus is that they want to be needed. No matter how much they pretend as if they are just fine being tolerated (or worse, left alone), there is a deep, heart-felt, emotional desire to be relied on.

They want to be a woman’s hero. They want to be rest assured that they are the only one who can fulfill her needs. They want the accolades that only arrive when a man finally accepts the responsibility of his life and the actions he makes in this life. But they were not willing to relinquish themselves from the fun, delight, and excusable mistakes of boyhood and step into the realm of manhood where only a few men truly reign as the kings of the castle.
