You should have known this before you decided to become a parent.
The media and the entertainment industry does not serve as a safe space for the innocent minds belonging to your children. The internet especially does not give a damn about who is consuming the vast amount of inappropriate content that is freely available for all eyes to view, no matter if they are age five or 55.
Think of this world that you willingly decided to bring children into as an R-rated dimension, filled with cheap thrills, triggers, and temptation everywhere. And for those people who eventually want to be parents in the near future, think about how you plan to shield your little ones from the readily-available vices of society. Because your role is not only to provide and receive the love you wished your parents gave you from your kids. It is also to protect. You cannot leave this form of protection up to random celebrities and influential strangers and think your kids will magically adapt the values you believe…
