Do I Thank A Male God Or Myself For Achieving My Body Goals?

“Lord, remove any laziness or procrastination from my body! Push me to my full potential this year!”
I came across this quote posted by a fitness influencer who confessed that she prays each and every day for this. I squinted my eyes in confusion as I read each word, because I am 100% sure it wasn’t her male god who was counting calories and calculating macros, going to gym on his period, making sure he got at least eight hours of sleep each night, and coming up with creative ways to sneak more protein into his diet.
That was all her. Right?
I, on the other hand, do not pray to anyone or anything, and yet I have also achieved remarkable success in my fitness journey. While this young lady claims the Lord is too busy removing the traits of laziness and procrastination from her body and casting it into the ethers, I removed them on my own.
