Eat, Drink & Be Merry! It’s The Creator Way
Creation requires resources. It requires consumerism. It requires money. And yes, it requires a certain level of greed and narcissism. There is no going around it.
We each hold something special within us that wants to be expressed and created in the world despite so many products already being created. And wasted. And recycled. And thrown away.
There are activists and other concerned citizens of earth who speak out against consumerism due to the environmental impact of our spending habits. There are also some self-proclaimed spiritual teachers and practitioners who even go as far as to demonize birthdays and holidays and treat these holidays/holy days as a typical day at the office.
Now I am not saying these people don’t have a point; believe it or not, I used to be one of them! But at the same time, there is no requirement to dedicate your life to focusing on problems. Problems are merely catalysts for creativity and evolution; they always resolve themselves.
