Gender Pay Gaps & Self-Deception: Why So Many Women Are Free Activists & Volunteers

While many women insist on stretching themselves thin and saving every damn body, men are saving themselves.

I take great offense when anyone demands that I spend my time in ways that please them. I am nobody’s free activist. As far as I’m concerned I am not on the payroll of the black community nor the women’s empowerment community, so I am not obligated to be anyone’s token black pet and stay on code. Owning a pussy between my legs, being single, and being childfree doesn’t dictate that I have all this free time to help hard-headed-ass women.

Seriously ladies, men get their entitlement from women, the mothers of creation and consequently their first teachers. When every minute of your 24 hours belongs to you alone and you place a tight leash on your precious finite amount of time on earth, women are upset. Because they believe there’s always something to do. Something to fix. Something to change. And when you are nonchalant about anything that doesn’t directly benefit you then you are labeled every derogatory term in the book.
