Gratefulness Gone Wrong: Women Are Thankful To Be Unpaid Maids In Their Own Homes!
“If you must take to social media to remind yourself to be grateful for a life you hate then something isn’t right!”
There is a popular low-carb advocate and chef who took to Twitter to ask women the following question:
Would you rather:
Have a home to clean or no home at all?
Have kids smudges and fingerprints all over your home or no kids at all?
Have a husband who leaves messes everywhere or no husband at all?
After these silly questions, because we all know that women have absolutely no choice but to put up with living in nasty, messy homes since that’s what having kids entails, including kids who legally qualify as adults, her conclusion was this:
Be thankful for the messes, it reminds us of what we do have.
I decided to protect my brain from reading the comments because I am tired of reminding myself of what “the straights” put up with under the guise of gratitude. We all know how women justify all sorts of bullshit because they hate being single, only to desperately resort to forming trauma bonds with other strangers online to vent about their lifestyles.
