Great article! When I was in college I worked at an Indian restaurant and I’ve met a few Jain people. Very nice individuals you are!
Anyway, I was raised vegetarian by vegetarian parents. I decided to go vegan for a few years and I noticed how many self-righteous people are in this community, toting around their narcissism under the guise of being the voice of animals who can’t tell us they don’t want to be our next meal.
After being vegan I went back to my vegetarian lifestyle, and one day I witnessed a woman who kept telling random people that she was vegan, and how her coat was made from faux fur. LOL. We ended up chatting and she lost her everlasting mind when I told her I ate dairy.
