It angers people across all backgrounds when black women expect the best that life has to offer, like other races of women expect and receive with no pushback.

Many black men are coming forward, admitting that they are not used to black women living in luxury or expecting opulence; and it is difficult for them to accept that this is what many ladies wanted all along. There is a discrepancy between the box filled with haunted memories, poverty, heartbreak, generational trauma, illness, and stress everyone puts black women in and what they actually desire.

As a black woman, all you have to do is voice that certain activities, behaviors, environments, and people are beneath you and you know to expect the pitchforks and torches.

In their minds, how dare you refuse to accept the absolute bare minimum anyone, especially the black community, can freely offer you without them lifting a finger because they don’t think you’re worth it?

No, you are too precious to be in the trenches, suffering with this community for eternity while they refuse to step up and become a better ally and provider for black women.
