How A Nightmare Taught Me That Fear & Time Aren’t Real: Astral Travel & Lucid Dream Lessons
“I think there is a choice, even when there appears to be none. But it’s the reaction that determines whether the choice is good or bad, not the person who makes it.”
-Eve, Grimm
I just woke up from a nightmare. My nervous system is still trying to process what happened in my dream from just a few minutes ago. My heart is thumping hard.
It is a blessing and a curse to be able to learn hardcore spiritual lessons through my dreams. When I think I am ready to progress on my quest towards self-actualization, my subconscious always knows how to test my will by shocking my system through the most bizarre dreams.
Now I have been lucid dreaming and astral traveling for at least 12 years. I have encountered non-human entities and tough situations that would traumatize even the bravest amongst us. But I was not prepared for this trip at all.
The dream unfolded at a college I was visiting. I had a long journey of traveling through various climates and terrains to arrive at my destination. My father and his close friend (whom I consider to be a father figure) were faculty at the school. I left the building and my brother was in his car waiting for me in the parking lot. I got in the passenger’s side and I noticed a rusty pick-up truck with two males staring dead in my eyes, as if they were waiting for a long time.
