There is a popular saying that instructs us to be kind because we don’t know what people are going through. The beauty in this proverb is that it gives everyone the opportunity to not only serve as a living, breathing beacon of hope for someone who really needs it, but we also receive the gift of a compassionate word or act of love that may inspire us to keep going when we need it the most. With that being said, I can recall an incident where a woman and her group of friends unexpectedly brightened my day in less than 30 seconds. This mysterious angel in particular had the courage to break free from her group of girlfriends and empower me in the most random way possible. Even after many years, remembering our interaction with each word I type is putting a smile on my face!
