Because I am the living heir of my ancestors and their unaddressed wounds, all of their pain literally lives through me. It flows through my body because it was handed down to me through my DNA. And it is waiting to be further passed down to my offspring should I decide to birth yet another recipient of generational pain.
This, my friends, is why I caution women to think twice about having kids, and if they decide to do so to have all of their ducks in a row; not only the wealthy ducks, but the emotionally-intelligent and healed ones too!
Many of us are living the lives of our parents and those that came before us. We may want more than these lives and their frustrations and limitations, but there is a default generational program that automatically overrides any of our desires for better.
