I Don’t Know Who Needs To Hear This, But You Are Not The Puppet Of Your Ancestors!
You were not put on this earth to worship the living or the dead. Just like you are nobody’s doormat as a human being, you are not the doormat of the spirit world, either.
I understand that a lot of people trust their ancestors blindly because they believe their dead relatives have their best interests at heart, but I highly advise against that. This life is for yours to create, build, and enjoy on your terms. Your life is not a monument to manifest their past and failed hopes and dreams, as if you owe them something. You don’t. So be very wary when you receive the opportunity to hear from them, usually through a reading with a medium, and they have all these grand plans for your life that do not make you excited to actualize them.
Instead of following spirits, follow your heart. Follow your intuition. Follow where your soul is guiding you. All of the answers lie before you on your path. Of course ancestors and other spirits have great wisdom to share with you but again it is guidance, not law.
I look at it this way: just like all of the spirits have something to say about you and your life, ultimately you know yourself better than them. Or at least you should! Similarly, I can ask your parents about you and they will have something to say based on the…
