I Don’t Know Who Needs To Hear This, But You Don’t Have To Get Remarried!

Ladies and gentlemen, I just attended the best wedding in my entire life. In my dreams. I should add that it really wasn’t much of a wedding at all, because no one got married. But the bride-to-be learned a valuable lesson in love, and that’s what made it worthwhile for me.
In the dream my mother and I were running late to a wedding held for an older friend of hers who divorced some years ago and decided to remarry after meeting a new man and dating him for a few years. The kicker was that after moving on her ex-husband was still crazy about her and didn’t want to annul the partnership, but he did so anyway based on her wishes.
When mum gave me the backstory I remember being very concerned over her wedding plans. “Is she sure she wants to remarry?” I asked.
“I think so,” she responded.
We arrived at the ceremony in the nick of time and caught the exchange of vows, but you can imagine everyone’s shock when her ex burst through the large church doors and ran to the altar.
