I don’t want creepy, stalker energy anywhere near me, in person or online. So scram!
Many people around the world have been quiet-quitting many things in their lives that are no longer beneficial to them, so for the past few weeks I have been quiet-quitting a phenomenon that has been creeping into my life and making me uncomfortable.
Basically, I have been quiet-quitting the ridiculousness of random Medium users feverishly saving my articles under numerous lists without reading or applauding them by straight-up blocking these folks without apology.
They don’t follow me. They don’t read my work. And they certainly don’t engage with my content. So why would I keep these hoarders around lurking on my profile? Scram!
Why? Because it’s giving…weird.
Why on earth are you saving my articles to read later when you know good and well you are not going to read them later, or at all for that matter? Be real with yourself: you hoard these articles, or the hard work of others, to make yourself feel good about coming across information that you know will contribute to positive changes in your life, only you don’t really want to work towards experiencing positive changes in your life.
