“Instead of making the goal to fit into size 2 jeans the ultimate marker of success in your life, why not cultivate healthier, sustainable habits that include eating enough, sleeping enough, pleasuring yourself enough, reducing enough stress, and finally relinquishing control and trusting your body to be whatever size it needs to be to keep you safe, alive, strong, and hormonally balanced?”

I have shared in the past that I lost around 60 pounds over the course of a few years. Maybe this weight loss sounds intentional to the average person, but it wasn’t. I actually liked the weight I started out with. I loved my thick thighs, round ass, luscious boobies, and plump face. I enjoyed the way jeans fit on my curves. I had more sex in my bigger body.

My original fitness goal was simply to begin exercising and maintain a consistent fitness routine. But I was not prepared for such a dramatic change in my body from making simple yet effective lifestyle tweaks. I had no idea that actually giving my body what it needed to thrive was the key to completely changing my body shape.

Since I have gone through the initiation of being my own body goals and maintaining my physique without ever worrying about gaining or losing too much weight, it seriously pains me to see women yo-yo dieting…
