I wanted to take the plunge and purchase an apartment in NYC. The fact that a sixth floor walk up with high HOA fees and snooty association members commands so much money (and some units are only available as cash deals) I just did myself a favor and walked away from the NYC real estate market. But I’m happy you’re moving and your new place is going to be your sanctuary!
