I will never forget when I was slammed with work and I asked my boss if I can take off ONE day for my mental health. He told me no. My eyes were filled with tears because I was filled with shame and embarrassment from being a grown ass woman who must ask for a damn day off.

I am NEVER, EVER going back to that life. It's not for me.
