If You Are Single And Childfree Then You Have Every Right To Be Greedy!

The “terrible sin” in greed almost always has to do with anything and everything that doesn’t involve expanding one’s family unit beyond what they can actually afford.

“Be fruitful and multiply,” is a famous command that is found in the Holy Bible. Many people believe this verse is only referring to having a bunch of kids you cannot afford, all while holding out hope that God will provide financial assistance for said children (although he has proved this to not be true time and time again. Don’t believe me? Take a look at some countries in Africa; hell, take a look at the United States!). However, this verse is actually an instruction for us to embrace abundance in all areas of our lives, whether we are childfree, childless, or with children.

While Christians claim that we should aspire to be humble and be of service to others through our money and time, I like to think of their god as a wealthy deity who wants us to enjoy living lavishly. Either way, there is no judgmental religious person on this planet who can make me feel bad about being greedy.

I do not possess an attitude of gratitude. I always want more, more, more! And I do not apologize for it!
