Impatience is a form of disrespect. And believe it or not, time is not our enemy.

Take singer and business mogul Rihanna, for example. She began her career in her teenage years. She didn’t reach billion-dollar net worth status until her early 30s. How many of us are willing to work with life for that long through the boredom, multiple failures, shiny object syndrome, disappointment, technology and algorithm adjustments, money highs and lows, personal issues, creativity blockages, and spiritual curses and death threats, all while we aren’t getting any younger?

What seems like an overnight success really comes with years of cycling through failure, quitting, problem-solving, and starting over again until something clicks. These dark nights are barely mentioned, and if a successful person does mention the work it took to get to where they are, we are quick to dismiss this very real aspect of life itself.

The initiation into another life matrix is a refinement process, and you cannot cheat yourself out of becoming and embodying who (and what) you desire by merely feeling entitled to a huge chunk of change in no time at all. You are not that fucking special. Sorry!

Life doesn’t give a damn that because you think you’re too old you’re entitled to its earthly material riches…
