For a while I have been on the receiving end of people I’ve either known or met online who slid into my DMs and siphoned my time and kindness to make themselves feel better about any situations and problems they come to me with. I get it: I am a great listener, and in this loud-ass world of ours where everyone has something to say, a human being who actually knows how to shut the hell up and listen is a rare breed. However, the emotional, mental, and spiritual consequences that I’ve been experiencing for a while suddenly became too much for me to ignore.

My brilliant solve was to put my time, my emotions, and my energy behind a paywall. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I created a monthly membership for anyone who wants to vent to me or pick my brain on a long-term basis. I sent Instagram messages to specific individuals who have been benefitting from my free listening ear that even a therapist wouldn’t comply with.
