Is It Just Me, Or Are “Boy Moms” Creepy As Fuck?!
“There exists a stark difference between the ladies who mother their boys in healthy ways and those that heavily rely on their sons for free therapy sessions, companionship, friendship, and emotional safety.”
To be clear, all mothers with sons are not boy moms. I know that sounds strange, because if a woman has a son she should automatically be considered a boy mom, correct? But just like all women who love their husbands and partners aren’t dickmatized, male-worshipping handmaidens, all mothers with sons are not boy moms.
First of all, the fact that some women label themselves as boy moms gives me the heebie-jeebies, especially if these same mothers have daughters. Notice how they will never say they’re a girl mom. They label themselves as boy moms because their entire identity is wrapped up in that son of theirs. We all know how so many ladies cannot seem to grasp that motherhood is only but one aspect of their womanhood and not the entire bundle, but boy moms take it to a whole ‘nother level. I’ve even come across some social media profiles with these same mothers using the term in their handles and in their bios.
Their sons are their pride and joy, and they must be protected and loved at all costs. Their girls? Not so much!
