Is It Promoting Obesity, Or…
“If we are promoting obesity by displaying regular people in all shapes and sizes, then what the hell were we promoting when I was growing up?
Eating disorders? Drugs? Intentional starvation? Hell, let’s take it a step further: death?”
If there is one thing that I have learned about humans in general, it is that so many people cannot think for themselves, despite each of us having our own brain.
First of all, where did this “promoting obesity” shit come from? And why is every damn body hopping on the bandwagon of proclaiming that anything featuring a larger-sized body is in fact promoting obesity? Huh?! This is the most illogical shit ever.
Anyone who has their panties in a bunch over Adidas, Gym Shark, Nike, and other fitness brands marketing their merchandise to larger bodies must be the picture of perfect health. And they also must be the narcissistic picture of perfect health. Because newsflash: these companies are in the business of making money. They don’t work for you exclusively. And like productive companies who want to succeed, they actually listened when fat people complained about not having many clothing options, especially for working out.
