Tonight I listened in on a live where a woman rightfully called out the ironic, hypocritical behavior of her female audience. A few weeks ago she asked her audience of thousands of subscribers to support a young lady who survived years of traumatic sexual and physical abuse by subscribing to her new YouTube channel.

Would you know that out of nearly 30,000 ladies listening in for hours and empathizing with the young lady who decided to become a content creator and make some money so she can get back on her feet, less than 200 women subscribed?

Two hundred.

Two. Hundred.

Let me remind you that clicking the subscribe button on YouTube takes less than one measly second and costs absolutely nothing! Also, for those that do not know, YouTube’s current requirements for monetization includes a content creator gaining 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time over the course of one year.
