I've never seen the show but I've heard of it. Frankly, I don't care for shows that promote heterosexuality and marriage. I see enough of this in our culture and it makes me gag lol.

But what you said is spot-on. It freaks me out that so many women want to submit to a man without even understanding that submission means something completely different for men than for women.

The phrase, "Children are seen not heard" also apply to women when it comes to these types of traditional men.
