“Just Lose Weight!” Is Stupid Advice To Give Fat People!
“Quit thinking that the easy answer to every fat person’s problem is to starve themselves.”
I was watching a reel created by a stylish large-bodied man who took the time to address the inconveniences fat people face when it comes to shopping. Because there aren’t many stores and brands that cater to the fat community, he stated that it is very inconsiderate for those individuals with smaller bodies to purchase the few available clothing items that can fit fat people just to cut and trim those same clothes down to fit their bodies when they can choose from an vast array of styles and options that will fit them already.
Sorry not sorry but I 100% agree with him. I understand that yes, technically anyone can buy larger clothes and utilize the excess fabric for the sake of creativity and fashion design, regardless of how much they weigh. However, is this the most mindful decision to make, considering that others have a very difficult time finding clothes that fit that they can actually afford? Not at all.
