Ladies, Stop Arguing With Traumatized Men.
Hurt men do not value input from a feminine perspective, only obedience and validation of their egos through silence.
One of the best things I have done for my sanity and my peace of mind was to stop committing myself to being understood by men who were committed to misunderstanding me.
Because many men have decades of trauma involving women that they refuse to address and release from their psyches and nervous systems, these unprocessed experiences show up as blocks within their mental faculties. So to handle the cognitive dissonance that shows up in their lives by way of my words that were intentionally constructed to force them to self-reflect, they misconstrued my words to fit the “All women are the same” narrative in their heads that cannot let go of the past.
It took me a few years to finally piece two and two together: that men were not initiating conversations with me out of love for me or for themselves, nor to fulfill a desire to respect my point of view as a woman or bridge the gap between the masculine and feminine that always seems to be at war with each other.
