Life Hack: Own It
What dirt on you exists when you decide that flowers will grow out of it?
Humans truly are no different than animals. Because killing someone in cold blood is illegal we do the next best thing. Instead, we kill marriages and relationships. We kill professional connections and careers. We kill friendships. We kill hopes and dreams. And of course, all of this busy work kills our trust in one another. And we make this happen through the exploitation of weaknesses.
Call it evil, but this is who we are as humans: wild animals that will receive life in prison for murder, and so we find “immoral” yet legal runarounds. Quotation marks because people love to slap labels on the same shit they cannot stop watching and paying attention to. Because betrayal pays. Exploitation pays. Fabrication pays.
But really, what exactly do people have on you when you own all of who you are? What dirt on you exists when you decide that flowers will grow out of it? What exactly is a weakness if you decide that these are strengths? Or, just normalcies in human behavior that the other humans refuse to admit belong to them, which is why they feel it is appropriate to judge you?
One of the bravest things you can do is to own the parts of you that people hide. At the end of the day we are all the same, nobody is above acting on their darkness. Ain’t that much fucking…
