Romance is a concept invented by men a long time ago; a concept that was promised to women from childhood in exchange for sex, labor, children, marriage, and domestic duties. And to this day women insist that a mere concept is enough value for them to give up their wombs, sex, and time to men.

Many of these same ladies enjoy ragging on women who recognize that love can either be priceless or a complete farce, depending on the man in question. And whether they score their dream beau or not is irrelevant; they refuse to give any man even a drop of their sweet nectar without financial and material compensation. These women are usually referred to as gold diggers by angry men who think sex should be free, and naive women who believe anything men say.

I prefer to call them intelligent, however.
