You don’t need to carry any conversation. You don’t even need to really contribute to it. Once you have mastered the art of silence and learn be concise, sharp, and get to the point when you do decide to open your mouth you will realize that a lot of folks are simply talking to themselves in your presence, not actually carrying on a meaningful conversation that requires your active participation. You can choose to zone out or take advantage of them.
There’s something about being mysterious that makes others want to serve you, whether with information, confessions, apologies, and more. It is true what they say: silence is golden.
