I watched a hilarious reel of a beautiful Muslim woman video chatting with her man and pretending to miss him. After closing her laptop she rolls her eyes and says, “Thank fuck that’s over.”
The caption of the clip read, “Me as a fourth wife after receiving my $50,000 monthly allowance.”
The comments section confirmed that this is in fact a thing: women are marrying these men and becoming sister wives primarily for the money. One woman had this to say:
Growing up in Saudi Arabia, I have seen this a lot. Many women who are married as co-wives don’t really care about the husband. They just tolerate enough to get their allowances and their lifestyles funded while they hangout with their friends and enjoy their lives.
I am not mad at these ladies one bit! If you are going to be with a man in any capacity the least he can do is upgrade your lifestyle.
