Men Have Their Boxer Briefs In A Bunch Because Women’s Only Train Cars Exist
Why are men consistently pulling out the old, worn-down equality argument to criticize any measure that gives women some peace of mind about their safety?
Because the majority of men have no idea how dangerous and psychologically traumatizing it is to exist as a woman in this world they can only conceptualize equality and spend hours online criticizing any measures some countries are making to ensure women feel safer…instead of actually doing their individual part as men to ensure women feel safer!
So of course they will bitch and moan about gender-specific train cars, gyms, and other amenities that are only accessible to women instead of realizing that these “privileges” wouldn’t exist had they been more proactive regarding the safety of women to begin with.
It is easy to criticize the government and the steps they’ve taken to clean up the mess that men have created instead of blaming themselves, all while not taking any initiatives to do better. Even the many Quora and Reddit threads I perused proved my point: men from all walks of life gathered to share their frustrations on women’s only spaces instead of sharing ideas on how they can come together to create a safer society for us.
