I came across a photo with a wonderful, thought-provoking caption that reads, “Confidence is earned by keeping promises to yourself.”

I can surely attest to this. The satisfying feeling of a job well done, no matter how frustrating, is such a delicious treat. The emotional reward alone keeps me focused and looking ahead.

On the other hand, the regret stemming from giving in to my very temporary emotions is ugly. But allowing life to pass me by without even trying is just downright hideous!

Becoming the most beautiful version of myself is about feeling beautiful, looking beautiful, and enjoying a beautiful lifestyle. Once I became fed up with desperately searching for shortcuts I began the process of becoming the woman I always desired to be. And I must say that I fell in love with the process.

Here is a gold nugget of advice for you: when it comes to yourself and your goals, don’t act like some men who possess a “something for nothing” mentality in the dating arena. Life requires much more from you than this low-level way of thinking and living. Do the work and don’t cheat yourself out of the valuable lessons.
