My time is a gift.

My body is a gift.

My femininity is a gift.

My love is a gift.

My attention is a gift.

My freedom is a gift.

My youth is a gift.

My compassion is a gift.

My exclusivity is a gift.

I refuse to freely just give these aspects of my womanhood away to just anyone.

In my opinion, a woman giving up her youth, exclusivity, and freedom for the low, low price of not being alone is not a business transaction that always works out in her favor. I’ve seen it play out over and over again.

I observe how eager women are to just give their “selfish” years away to any man. To give away the stage of their lives when they are still discovering themselves. Still learning to love who they are. Still attempting to ground themselves in their bodies. Still figuring out what makes them uniquely special, beautiful, and wonderful. They act…
