I came across an Instagram reel of a young lady in a dance class who was having fun and wining her waist to soca music. In the back was a young man whose mind was blown at her skills. He had his mouth wide open in shock as she shook her hips to the ground and did a split.
I couldn’t help but watch the reel many times while smiling because the man’s reaction was adorable, plus it served as a testament to the raw power of the feminine. This woman did not look at him. She did not dance on him or with him. She probably didn’t know he existed. She was minding her business and getting a workout in while he was absolutely mesmerized by the way she moved her body.
While many people took to the comments section to compliment her and her moves, one disgruntled woman, or should I say one “pick me,” had the audacity to give her unsolicited opinion and state that her dancing was inappropriate to do in public, all because of the man’s facial expression. According to her, he was uncomfortable.
Um, what?!
