I thought my life was someone else’s to fix. First I thought my life was God’s responsibility, then I thought it was a man’s, then my ancestors and the unseen spirits watching me. I was too scared to look in that mirror and accept that my best decisions brought me to where I was at the time, and those decisions were not so great after all!

Once I discovered the fun in creation and self-responsibility my life ran more smoothly, especially when I let relinquished the many friendships and relationships with individuals who created problems out of thin air and needed to call me constantly to vent about those same problems.

We intentionally squander our money foolishly to create money problems.

We intentionally get back with our ex because the excitement of toxic relationships beats the quiet solitude of singleness or a loving partnership.

We intentionally bring up the past with our loved ones because we only feel like they care about us if they indulge us by way of an argument.
