“Don’t add me to shit I am not interested in attaching my name and work to. Simple.”

I will encourage all writers on this platform to go to their settings page and see if they were added as a writer to any publications they had no idea existed until today. Because that’s what I just did, and apparently I was a writer on a relationship publication that I just removed myself from. I found out the creator of the publication and blocked his scary ass too.

I am not at all interested in writing for any publications at the moment, but c’mon! Common courtesy in the writing space would be to ask if I would like to write for your publication, correct?

Don’t be a coward: speak up! Make yourself known! Send me an email! Take some time to actually read my work, leave a comment, and interact with me before decide to you add me to some unknown, fly-by-night project of yours without my knowing.

This is the second time this has happened to me, and frankly it’s becoming a bit annoying. On one hand, it definitely validates my skills, although those skills, showcased through articles, are very biased and laced with lots of cursing and sexy negativity. Then again, I don’t like sneaky shit. It reeks of fraud, as if someone is attempting to go behind my back and use the small name…
