Help mates are still moaning about the responsibilities they choose to wake up each day to perform for the basics of survival like housing and provisions for themselves and their children.
I understand that the lifestyle of the stay-at-home-mother and housewife has been grossly sensationalized by help mates who have nothing better to do than to get dolled up and sit online trying to persuade impressionable, stressed out, overworked ladies that their only alternative to being a “cog in the machine” is to join them.
Of course there is rarely any mention of the unsexy aspects of being kept in the house all day like the loneliness, the boredom, the lack of respect, the abuse and control, and the droves of single women who are openly competing for your man’s attention because they think you have what they want.
Don’t let those shiny new bags from luxury boutiques that these women are parading all over social media fool you. Spending your days in the mall and at the spa as an escape can only do so much to quell the emptiness you feel inside.
