“I am way too feminine to be dealing with the monsters called men society tells me are worth waiting for. I am too crafty to waste my time worshipping the concept of hope. I love myself too much to ever desire to be with a man in this lifetime.”

A man stood by my bathroom window to watch me shower tonight. I was busy washing my hair when I turned my head to see small, quick flashes of white circles from a flashlight trying to come through the frosted glass window. I was perplexed, and I stood there while the flashlight tried to get a peek of my body a few more times before he left. At that moment I had shampoo in my hair, plus my window is sealed shut. There was no way I could’ve reacted fast enough to ever catch the mystery man.

After my shower I called the police and asked if there had been any reports of peeping Tom’s in the area. Someone called me back to tell me there hasn’t, but they were going to send someone to check out the area where the incident occurred.

About 20 minutes later I met with an officer who walked around my home and asked me questions. I had no idea who the man that tried to violate my privacy was, so there was little he could do. He told me to call back if I see anything.

I stayed up all night thinking. About everything. So not only has this man robbed me…
